Obviously I know that it would not be fair to new players if ccp would give us beta players the advantage of taking our skill points with us after beta, however I would love to have a 'bonus' because I helped with the beta.
Right now the fact that everything I do in the beta will get deleted by the time is not motivating.
Maybe its an idea to give a bonus SP to the beta players as a reward for playing the beta?
Thinking about 1% of all SP gathered in beta for instance (its not substantial enough to give us a huge advantage over the new players, but at least it is a reward for the amount of time put in beta testing). |

That's pretty much why they're giving us the various unique dropsuits and such for participating in each beta event.
I'm going to miss my SP too, especially since we're gaining it a 4x the normal rate right now. Has to be done though. |

I know there is a reward for being very good, but how about being bad but just playing a lot? :) |

Yeah, think about it. As well as apparently being able to play release few days early we will know exactly how to build our builds and skills. You will also in general have more skill, so someone on even ground to you with equip but only started game, you will win 3/4 times, unless you have been drinking Quafe. In which case its 1/20.
Jokes aside, you do have a huge bonus compared to new players. Not to mention all the cool new equips gathered from ebing in beta. Hope they are BPO's and are of standard/advanced level :3 |

Your right that we have an advantage on new players, thing is that I find it a total waste to flush my skill points.
So ya I'm just crying :) but unless you shoot you always miss (dutch saying "niet geschoten altijd mis" fits the Dust context).
Also drinking is the best way to be a sniper! |
