Anything you read here CCP that feels like it'd just hold players hands (when they are in battle) please don't add it in. stuff that stops from thinking about it cause you have a visual to tell you when to throw something or when to run away.
Like:
Grenade indicators, timers
If there is a possible way to give the carebears this option, please do so in a way that doesn't require everyone to have it, but I'd really rather have less hand holding when we mercs can go out to lower sec solar systems.
Possibly just highsec if you ever choose to add those things in. |

I like this, at least to an extent. I hate grenade indicators. If you are too busy to see it being lobbed in, or the different animation, or any other indicator (such as the impact sounds) then that's really on you.
However, I personally would rather have more people to shoot at rather than less. Some people do like indications,because they play without sound, get tunnel vision when aiming, or whatever else. Easiest solution is to add in some sort of sensor module that you can fit to display such things to you.
There's already skills to apply towards any sort of sensor/electronic upgrades - why not add in a module to take use of the skills?
You want a grenade indicator? Fine, but you've got to sacrifice a mid slot. That means less shield, and when you still miss the indicator the grenade you may have otherwise survived will kill you due to a smaller tank. |

That's a great point, till that active sensor module is in game. i don't want to see anything that holds my hand in battle.
If the guy gets a grenade throw on me, good for him, don't give me the indication to stop that good throw, unless the module is active.
Which is a good point also, it says ACTIVE scanners in game market |

I don't want indicators or timers for grenades.
I want grenades to throw accurately, and I want them to explode reliably. Just like I want other stuff to work the way it should, which at present is still a little intermittent. |

Thats the nature of a beta man. I'm sure all of that will be addressed. To be honest though, if another guy wants an indicator at the expense of their tank that's fine with me. I'll just kill them by shooting through their tiny tank rather than trying to frag em. I'll save the frags for the groups.
Just my .02, but I think everyone can get what they want to an extent with a little compromise on both sides. |

Well I laughed pretty hard too and will probably have random giggles for awhile bit that is probably because I am a little drunk. |

get rid of those massive triangles over everyones heads that you can see through terrain (wallhack) making snipers pretty useless.
im ok for non hand holding but dont make the game so hard that it only has a small community. |
