I've played literally years worth of fps. Some things need to be done as far as im concerned to bring the game up to snuff. These are just my personal opinions in list form that i think would better the game. Mind my spelling
Core Gameplay: Pin Point dots for aiming only really work well on PC this is a console shooter firing reticles need to have some sort of width when aiming
Button remapping(heard thats coming "soon"TM)
Spawning on Group Members or Group Leaders will make this games core alot more team based maybe show there camera view so you dont spawn on the guy about to get nuked.
If you look at point "A" and hit a button you should issue a command to go there. It's quick and no map required
A quick map button that doesn't bring you to a different screen.
*Sound notifications: In a game like dust 514 you need information and you need it clear as day. I would like a sound notification for vehical requests. One saying it got the request, its coming, and then delivered. So i dont have to look up to see if it got accepted or not. This should be simple to put into game. Also leader requests like defend A or Attack B.
The mini-map is one of the most crucial things in a game it tells you where you are where your friends are, the enemies are, how close they are where someone dropped a nano-hive and healing. its your go to tool and your miss using its power by not displaying such things. use a 2d map please. Set the minimap to toggleable distances it removes the neccesity for a large map
Tweaking: Air ship sniping has been discussed to death, i would simply make a limit to how high ships can fly that pretty much sloves all the problems ive heard of.
Airships with blasters are horrible. Unless your the god of aiming you wont hit anything but buildings and tanks, i would suggest that blasters get a very minimal aoe with reduced damage so they can atleast be viable yet not over powered.
When going from 3rd to 1st person in the tank it should be easier to see people farther away naturally, but it seems like u have the exact same view as u did in 3rd person, 3rd person is for driving purposes and close combat 1st is for long range attacks, yet there is no zoom on the tank barrels.(i heard this was changed?)
When in 1st person in a tank firing a blaster the effects block my view so i cant see what im hitting considering i have to be pin point accurate its a real pain in the butt being blinded
When your in a vehical and you kill someone the sound you get in my opinion is not rewarding in anyway. make a ching sound like money or an isk deposit something that excites a person. as well as the death sound sounds like a winding down engine since its something you hear enough in a round as it is. change this please
Suggestions: Mini depolable turrets used in a grenade slot or nanite slot. id rather have a turret than a grenade. The damage doesn't have to be great because its an over time damage. You could make it amazing and have them be able to be put on walls or ceilings. shoot at anything in an area
*a drop shield/shield wall you can shoot through it allys can shoot through it. itll have a static health amount itll have a small area where the shield is "weaker" so u aim for that itll go down quicker. its a 1 use it doesnt re-pop you can walk through it so can enemies so can vehicals. i say that so you cant create impenetrable fortress if u use more than one or bloock a doorway. the shield cant be healed also balancing issues. yet you can drive a truck through and ram people.
Somewhere to sit in the battle waiting area, a set of stairs so i can walk to the glass instead of walking around, running. In the battle waiting room, i want to see the front of my character.
*Real shields as a bonus to your normal shields. one that you have to press a button and hold to use to block attack infront of you so i don't get 1 shot by a tank. There could be 2 types. A normal steel shield/-slow and a energy shield/-pg. They could tie into your dropsuits own strengths. For instance if you want shield regen a energy shield will tie into that once again taking up extra cpu or pg of the suit and a slot. lets say you can use any weapon with them minus 2 handed ones. guns that can be held in one hand.
Holding your breath for steadying your shot as a sniper. its common in every other game and yes i know about the steading skill that would just be helpful.
zoom for sniper rifles. different scopes. just because its the eve universe doesnt mean it has to be exactly like eve throw in sum weapon scope options that can just be equipted
When aiming down sight no one holds the gun perfectly out infront of them unless its a pistol the assault rifle should be off to the side atleast a little bit for more realism
running people over with a tank or lav = death i dont care how much shield/armor you have your gonna die in you get hit by a truck, i hit a guy with a tank and pinned him into a wall and he did not die. if u can land on a man with a flyer and kill him he should die if he gets hit by a truck. its enersha. if u want to get technical about it to have a "shield" every hit your taking is being converted to kinetic energy from the gun firing the bullet then the kintic being tranferd to your shield and downward into the earth your still feelign the bullet hit you but its over your entire body. bullets have little energy but its concentrated enough to pierce through armor. now get hit by a truck and tranfer that energy all over your body. your shield cant handle it your armor dont help u. your gonna die.
Oh and i think theres a typo. In the shield rechargers of vehical modules. the M42 shield recharger says meta lvl 4 but only has 5% bonus. and requires more cpu and pg than the 10% bonus one. is it 25%? |

i agree with the Recticil rather than the dot, i dont think we should have active shield, simple becasue that goes against the lore in eve, there shield are always up. the game already has squad leader commands attack/ defend this piont ect. just nobody uses them. i think are minimap should actualy show something rather than how it is now, so i all for a minimap reworking. and yes when a multi ton tank hits you you should die. |

I didn't see him mention kill sounds at all in that post, he only asked for sound notifications for calling in vehicles. |

Kinda wierd for me but if it helps his drive I dont see why not. |
