Hello CCp devs seeing as this will be your first or second game in the market let me start by saying congratulation and I am looking forward to the open Beta Before your August Window release. I just want to submit a request in which many DLG Downloadable game has problems with they dont exactly come with an manual. We the fans ask if you could please put in a tutorial in the game helping the player understand that this is not just another shooter. Its an economy built around and within Eve Universe. In conclusion please give us the players the understanding on how to use each tool and knowledge on the Battlefield. Also Please can you make piloting vehicles a certain skill requirement Almost like Bf Free to Play does in which those who have enough experience say flying can pilot them so we dont have crashes in which any noob can get in one. Thank you and we the CCp fans will play your game and so will others.

You seem new to the New Eden universe. Welcome. :)
In EVE (which is CCP's current masterpiece) there is an extensive tutorial system, in-game and external help systems and good descriptions for pretty much anything you want to buy. These do a wonderful job of getting you up to speed with the basics and even the more advanced issues. What doesn't, and won't, exist is a full help system for the high-end activities you can do. These include corp management, large scale battle command, market trading etc'. For those you pretty much need to find your way and relying on the basic tools you already have.
Once Dust is released you should expect a similar system. New players will have extensive help and even very generous joining resources and gear. Until then, tutorials aren't really important for the devs. There are much more pressing matters such as getting the game to actually work as they envisioned. It would also be rather silly making a tutorial for an unfinished game and then having to constantly change it as each new feature is added to the beta. |

Protips for Newblood pilots: L1 to climb L2 to drop Watch out for swarm launchers. If you have missiles inbound, fly quickly behind towers/buildings and hope the missiles hit them instead. Your team can spawn in the free dropship fit you start off with. Try to keep moving to avoid taking small arms/AV fire. When you have gunners, try to give them clear shots at enemies. If the enemy has a tank, you can hover directly above it without taking fire, and your gunners will be able to hit it. |
