This is a problem with ALL FPS games really. I can understand that a female character would present a smaller target, creating balance issues but, it's not the 1940's anymore. |

Read the lore, or just this part of it, which explains why we don't have female available when we're creating our characters.
It sounds like this is possibly in the works, but will definitely be a ways off. |

I have been reading the lore and I defiantly understand why they are all male during the trial.
The reason I even brought up the post is I just let my girlfriend make a character last weekend and she was bummed as always that she could not pick a kick but chick.
I am not talking about making female suits in the game just having a female clone some where down the line. |

you are a genetically modified CLONE, furthermore you are in a very concealin suit of armour, one of the short story, (or maybe ...palidin 1, or whatever the lore story for dust was) have shown that female consciousness can be transferred into a sexaully indifferent clone, one that does not have the identifying qaulities of EITHER gender.
furthermore, from a gameplay perspective there is ZERO reason to have a female character model, not only does it just look stupid when female power armours are so vastly different from male armour( ala halo reach) but generally speaking it spits in teh face of lore and backstory (again reach)
a female model does not need to be made, and no serious gamer would actually want this, it detracts from dev time on worthwhile persuits, all for the sake of something that you, as the player can't even see, (hint, it's a first person shooter, you can see "dat ass", get it?) |
