lol, anti tank Mines are not Remote Explosives.
Anti-Tank mine, means i place it and walk away. = me not being useless waiting for a tank to drive over my C4 (RE) and triggering it manually.
i dont want to play a waiting game.

thing with mines is this u cant have a relatively CHEAP item like a mine destroy a tank fully dmg it yes but there must be a balance in terms of cost as well
there should also be some sort of sensors or thermal vision or sum for tanks to spot mines so basically only careless drivers get wrecked by them |

Mines probably wont make it into dust for the same reason they got pulled from eve. Spam. If there were anti vehicle mines in the game i cant speak for any one else but i know i would plaster the ground in them. |

Maybe an EM mine to stall the engine and modules (not the gun turret) and either slow the incoming vehicles or prevent an escape. Stalling those cowardly shield-less Sagaris would be an amazing experience. |

Sounds good as long as they are not anti-infantry and take either the same slot as nano-hives or grenades. |

Webifier mines would be awesome! I could see some cool tactics with those by placing them behind a tank on his escape routes so that when you start hitting the tank with forge guns and they run away they get stuck and slow down for you to shoot some more. Would definitely reward forethought and planning to take out that tank. |

Webifier Mines would be a nice addition but they aren't placed right in the explosives tree. Explosives are:
- Remote Explosives - chucked and detonated just as we have them. (Explosives I)
- Destruction Charges - high power to take out installations, timed but require a high explosive skill and a hack-like fusing phase timer to place (Explosives IV)
A Mines Skill would be something like an advanced explosives skill or should have its own book available at Explosives IV. it might have things like:
- Explosive AV Mines - high power, with a fusing phase, large object similar to nanohive so you just can carry 1 or 2
- Anti-Infantry Mines - disc-like mines that can be thrown to stick on walls etc., explode on proximity and when the placing person dies ( like nanohives), low damage maybe 1 hit kill to advanced scout suit; large requirement on CPU and only high level can place more than one or two, have a delay before arming
Webifier are more something like Electronics / Engineering Deployables maybe next to active scanners:
- Webifiers
- Infantry Shield Resistance Amplifiers
- plain Shield / Armor Walls (dependign on race)
- Jump Pads ;)
