I understand that current maps are relatively small and that all spawn points are attached to objectives with the exception of the last resort ones, however only having one spawn point per objective and having them all face a specific way when you spawn is extremely problematic for those spawning and helpful for spawn campers.
My personal suggestion is to either change the current system from what seems like a closest to way-point system with unit facing being pre-determined, to a system spawning randomly within a specified field whose facing is randomly generated each time as well. This will make camp spawning harder at least and slightly make up for the current problem without having to actually do much legwork.
I would however prefer a system where each objective used the above system, however with 2-3 (depending on map size) spawn points per objective (spaced so they cannot be easily managed by a single tank camping) so as to reduce the effectiveness of spawn camping.
Just my two cents. After playing the game for a week I've noticed this as an extremely common tactic especially if you use tanks or remote explosives. |

In the pregame news it was said that vehicles and mercs wouldnt spawn out of nothing so i guess they would change spawn system until official release. |

Wow, These threads just keep coming.
Its a known bug and not working as intended.
Its intended that you spawn in a random location within some radius of the spawn point.

Greetings,

I have a much much easier method of making it harder for the spawn campers... They are called Drop-Uplinks. While I don't use them as often as I should, I have gotten lots of comments from teammates when I do use them. |

I don't think drop uplinks will be used too often unless they change the spawn timer on them. These are for camping snipers |

agreed, and they are too easily destroyed to be a practical alternative. A single stray vehicle round can take one out. |

Example from this morning, my team was pushed back to our own single spawn point and the enemy was starting to play bowling for spawns with their dropships. I managed to break out and lay down two drop uplinks which allowed us to make a comeback and actually win the battle.
Now, having said the above, I think the spawn timer needs to be adjusted, but it needs to be adjust based on the level of drop-uplink skill the deployer has. At present I only have level 1, so the 15 seconds is fine, but at level 5, that should drop to 11 seconds. That would make it only 1 second longer than the CRU and therefor a more acceptable alternative...
