Anyone heard if they're gonna be releasing something like this for the PC? Or is that gonna be just a Vita thing? Not really a fan of handhelds. Haha! *Facepalm.* |

DUST 514 is PS3 only. No plans to port to PC. The PC does already have it's fair share of FPS multi-player games. |

I'd love to see a dropsuit/vehicle fitting tool, in all likelihood someone will get around to making one. There are a couple of competing ship fitting programs for EVE so there's no shortage of people capable of such a thing
I should mention that EFT/EVEMon are 3rd party player developed tools and have nothing in common with the upcoming Vita neocom app: that's a program which lets you do everything short of actually fighting a battle in dust. For an analogy it would be like if CCP made a web client for eve with limited/no graphics that let you do anything except undock |

The Vita is meant to be more of a supplement thing, I don't think CCP has ever announced that you can play DUST proper on it, just use it as a fitting tool or something like that. |

Aura could do it, as soon as NDA is over. You can get Aura with android phone. |

I guess you haven't played Eve?
He didn't mean to release Dust 514 on the PC. He was talking about EFT (Eve fitting Tool) and Eve Mon (which he called Dust Mon). EFT is for trying out different fittings for your vehicle, Eve/Dust Mon is a tool for planning your skills / monitoring them.
So basically OP is asking if there are plans to release/expand these tools to support Dust 514. |

Uhhh.... Porting to PC? Who said anything about that? I was just talking about fitting tools mate... And skill monitors/planners... And I'm sure they wouldn't make it accessable on the little vita for actual gameplay. I was just wondering if someone had heard of these handy programs in the works. It's one of the handiest things for an EVE player to have something like EFT/EVE Mon. Even some of the Dev's who use them would agree. I was just wondering about it. |

a mod of evemon and eft seems likely, it's largely the same system, just with moderate changes and simplifications (a market of several hundred modules instead of several thousand) |

This will becoming out on smartphones and PC once the NDA is lifted. Because EVE/Dust514 have an awesome community. |

They're both 3rd party programs.
I think it best for you to contact the developers of their respective programs.

Aura already has a Mercenaries section marked with "SoonTM", I expect it to be quite useful as soon as the game goes out of the beta. |

CREST will make it easier for both dust and eve related 3rd party devs for stuff like that, correct?
so i could see applications and programs like that. |

Very nice to hear. Would love to get a "evemon" for Dust. Even better if one is build in. Switiching back and forth a million times from market to skills to fittings to market to skills etc, etc is a bit overkill. Game will be a lot better when you can plan what you want to do and see the effects in once spot then go do it all at once.
Without a EvEMon type program it's like going clothes shopping with your woman, takes too long, too much running back and forth, no one knows what they want, and you are not enjoying yourself. :) |

I am (sort of) working on a dust version of EFT. Its not EFT in any why, just a program that does the same thing for dust. The problem is the NDA and no static data dump.
With the NDA in effect I can't reverse engineer any of the formulas used in dust, so that is slowing things down a lot. Also with no static data dump I have to manually enter every stat by hand. Not going to happen any time soon.
But the point as, as soon as possible there will be programs available. |

I can see this being a PC web based app where you build a fit then copy/print it out so you can copy it in the game or maybe you can eve mail it to yourself from the forums. |
