i was flying around happily in a match and we were winning pretty good. we had all the points captured and the enemy kept getting back into C some how. so i flew up and found a drop uplink on the MCC.
the drop uplink was on the top ridge of the MCC on the right side on the metal plating where the armor was thick.
so i decided it was time for some lulz and landed my dropship directly on the drop uplink.
i sat there for a moment as i watched the Zekina (died) noob1 Zekina (died) noob2 Zekina (died) noob3 and so on the killspam commenced.
all the CRUs were gone. all the points were ours. this was the last spawn point they had. i ended up getting about 15 kills from the drop uplink.
as this was all happening the MCC was inching forward to victory.
then i noticed the drop uplink got stuck on my dropship, the mcc moved forward, but i had control of the drop uplink and was capable of moving it around on the back side of the MCC.
this caused the enemy to think it was a new drop uplink in a different area. yea more kills for lulz.

Sounds like people were not trying to spawn in their own unsafe zone... this is funny though. |

i just found it really weird that i was capable of moving the drop uplink.
at one point i was wondering if i parked my dropship there and went and got another one weather my parked dropship would continue scoring me kills as they spawn. |

Nope, it will slide off the MCC and even if it didn't they blow up after a short time when unmanned(although you may have been able to take the uplink somewhere else and land the dropship elsewhere - would still blow up though). |

i think you are wrong my friend. there are certain sweet spots on the MCC where objects dont slide off. its right behind the top ridge in the mid section. |

Had a weird experience with an enemy uplink the other day. They'd dropped it on that raise platform that's almost right on top of C. At first I landed on it a little hard, the came around and landed next to it. Seeing it was an enemy icon, I tried shooting it with my SMG. Nothing. Tried knifing it. Nothing. I had just about given it up as misidentified friendly tech when an enemy heavy with a minigun popped up. Fortunately he seemed quite surprised, and I was able to catch him between me and my dropship. Tried again to bust it after he was gone, but got nothing. I was out of grenades and FG ammo at the time (hence the commandeered dropship) so I couldn't do anything else to it.
I wondered if I had accidentally rammed it into the "floor" by landing on it, leaving it below where I saw it and unable to be interacted with. |
