I only ever read in this section because the general discussion section is so full of people trolling.
It is out of hand and needs to be curtailed in someway.
There will be people who get a first impression of how the community will be by the beta forums, and right now it is not good.
In the Eve forums, people flame and are vicious but they are not usually mindless trolling. Also, the moderators actively police the Eve Forums.
We need a little love in the beta forums here.
Even banning people if they go overboard all the time.
Something needs to happen. |

Greetings,
On most forums, I would either say HTFU or simply ignore a request like this or the trolls themselves, however, this case is a bit different. We are here to do a job, some have paid for the right to do that job, others have earned that right. Because we are here to do a job and actually test this product, I think Traynor's request has merit. Yes, we should be free to debate issues / ideas, but we really do need to ensure that it remains a debate and not an argument, not an epeen contest, and most importantly, not a whine / troll fest. |

Indeed, the general discussions area is overflowing with garbage and the discussions are tedious and meaningless most of the time. |
