I'm not sure if others have encountered it, but I tried using the Move the other weekend and couldn't get it to work well AT ALL. It the mercenary quarters the camera was whipping around like a tornado. In game I was either pointing at the ground or just the sky. I switched over to Kill Zone 3 to make sure the controls on my end weren't messed up and had no problems. Do I have some setting wrong or is the Move really this bugged? |

I could barelly use it.
My opinion is that if it works it takes far more effort to set up than it deserves. So bottom line is its broken :)
When its as easy to setup as in, as you say, KZ3, then i might try it again.

True it should definitely be something intuitive to get basic functionality. Well, I'll give it another try this weekend and see if I have any better luck. |

Alright, I was able to get the Move to work this weekend. For some reason the turn and crosshairs default to 3000+. This was causing the "tornado" effect.
So far here is the good and the bad for the move:
Good: *Hip aiming seems responsive *Can go reasonably quickly from Move to DS3 (DS3 to move takes about 8-15 seconds, Move to DS3 takes about 5) *Controlling turrets and weapons vehicles is VERY responsive and seems like the best use for the Move
Bad: *Turning- the turn speed is so bad it's shameful. I don't know if CCP intentionally made it slow or if it's a bug but it makes the Move downright useless in CQC *Crosshair Aim is horribly unresponsive and basically unusable
Running around as a Scout or Assault suit will get you killed. You may have some advantage using the HMG and Forge gun with a heavy, but if you have to turn you're dead.
Right now the Move really only seems useful for maning the secondary turrets on vehicles and for turret installations. The turn speed really needs to be increased to be equal to a DS3. |
