DUST Search - Paid $20 and Game Non-Functional

Because a game is a beta DOES NOT mean it is broken - I have played MANY betas on my PS3 and never has a single one not worked at all. Not a SINGLE one.

I am posting this hoping somebody (who isn't a 16-year-old mongoloid troll) might recognize the problem I am having any help me understand what I need to do. Otherwise, as I have done before with faulty software, I can call up American Express, and let them know I paid for a product that was never delivered, and the charge will not be paid (by my at least).

Also, for those of you who are flaming and trolling me for no reason - even though you don't even have a reason to be IN the thread to being with, seeing as you have NOTHING to contribute - consider for a moment you guys are going to be some of the first console players to be introduced into a mainstream MMO. The way you behave online and in community forums such as this will probably play a significant role in the way MMO devs think about incorporating console players in the future. So far this community is doing a VERY poor job representing the PS3 community.

There is little in the way of intelligent discussion on this forum so far, and apparently the kiddies these days can't even find something decent to smoke, otherwise they wouldn't spend their days spamming and flaming tech support forums. I mean flaming tech support, REALLY GUYS???

I just need some help from ppl who know what they're talking about please.

IF you say anything bad about this game, justified or not, you are viewed negatively. According to most, this game is perfect as it is and god forbid you talk about their great glorified game in any way that isn't positive. The simple solution concocted by this community for all the issues present is a simple,"It's a beta bro. If the game doesn't work for you properly you are an idiot." While most of us try and bring light to issues, we are guaranteed to be flagged down by the brown nosers in the community. You just need to get used to it, some of them here have their heads so deep they refuse to realize there are issues here and anyone who tries to post about them are just "flaming, trolling, Talking ****, making fun, ect" according to the community. I thought the reason we were here was to "test" and bring light to issues, not flame testers for calling the game what it is, Broken. I guess since we don't play EVE, we just don't understand the concept of a FPS well enough to be taken seriously here.

And you can't call the game broken, simply because it is a beta and as such isn't the finished product - a game. Think of it as a car without doors. You wouldn't call it broken simply because it's missing doors, it's just not finished. It still works, and you'd prefer to have doors, but you'd happily still use the car, no? Especially if you know that in a week's time, you'll know that it will have doors. Idk heres my problem with whats going on. Ill use your car reference to rebuttal. You say the car is missing doors, and to me that sounds like a major issue. The issue is brought up over and over again, but the same two answers keep coming up. 1. (Developers) We are working on designing doors at this moment, soonGäó. 2. (Community) Its just a prototype, the real version of the car will have gold plated doors with 17 different cool things. THis is what i imagine the car will have so it will definitely have them. While the door issue is something that will hurt drivability (gameplay), nothing seems to be done about it. All the while the manufacturer is beating around the bush by adding chrome trim to the dashboard(backwards walking in merc quarters), and an extra cup holder in the center console (more guns and modules) to try and distract from the fact that the car still has no doors and is unsafe to drive. And other than one or two acknowledgements from the manufacturer, the door idea was never brought up again. IDK, i just hate coming in here and trying to bring up issues to jsut get insta-flamed because the majority here are in the "it's a beta so its not a problem" mentality. PS. you say in a weeks time it will have doors, I'm sorry for being so cynical. I've personally been here since the very beginning (first wave of beta keys) and have seen very little (key points and issues) improve with patches since the initial drop of the game so excuse me if I'm not all unicorns and butterflies about the game right now. I'm not going to sit and negatively flame all day like some users here, but I'm also not going to get my hopes up until i actually see it happen in game. My heart has been broken one to many a time by developers promising the moon then crapping on my chest, and from what I've seen so far I'm not going to get too excited. But you never know. All i got to say is I'm glad i didn't spend $20 to get access to dust, or i might be feeling more along the lines of the OP.
