Basically what the title says. Instead of having to go through the Neocom to Dropsuit Fittings and select the specific fitting and select restock, I think it'd be better to just prompt us to restock whenever we try to respawn with that Dropsuit Fitting. This is obviously only meant for during battle.
Tried running several searches and didn't find any similar thread, or at least none with this specifically pointed out. |

well to be honest I like the mechanic for what it is. you have to look over your stock and keep it up to date. for me it is realism. as an eve player before going into combat or a mission you have to check and ensure you have enough ammo or any number of other things for survival before you un-dock. Changing this or giving the option for auto restock could cause trouble for those who select it and forget it. A merc could go broke real quick if they keep restocking an expensive fit in the heat of a tight pitched battle and not realizing until too late that all their profits are left strewn across the battle field. in that regard the current system will help keep newer players in the game. Dust is so different than other FPS where once you have it everything auto re spawns. the fail safe in this case will be blueprints, right now we all have bpo of militia items, it is my understanding that in the near future we will have availability of bpo for other items witch will enable base fits more advanced than militia auto re spawning. for me Keep it the way it is

Malfearion, I get what you're saying and it definitely makes sense. However, EVE and Dust have very different gameplay styles, and this is one of those crucial areas where they differ that requires some distinction in how they handle it. FPS games are known for being pretty fast-paced games, and people want to jump back into a game as soon as possible with their preferred loadout. The current design slows the respawn process too much.
If desired, they could display the total isk you have and the amount it will take to restock it at the respawn restock prompt. That way the player will be constantly reminded and only have themselves to blame if they run themselves broke trying to use an isk-based loadout. |

agreed auto restock would be great... 1 restock per dropsuit selection untill end of game then u can restock like normal, but ONLY for things that don't cost AUR |

This should be an option only for isk-based loadouts, not Aurum-based ones. Otherwise it'll get thrown in the face of CCP because players forgot their Aurum loadouts cost them real-money. |

Yea I think I could live with that as well.

I dont think it should be auto restock, but the ability to bring up the Restock Menu directly from the Dropsuit selection screen would be fantastic. Fumbling through the Neocom and Fitting screen feels bulky and unnecessary. |
