i was in a match and we were fighting at B. jumped out of a dropship and landed ontop of an RDV. friendly RDV took off very fast and i was taken outside the map, RDV dematerialized and i fell of commited suicide.
is this a bug? are we supposed to be able to ninja skydive onto the RDV? |

It doesn't "dematerialize" it cloaks 
so you know. and i don't even end up on top of the RDV.. |

well then, if i am standing on top of it and it "cloaks" why did i fall through it after such event? because even though it cloaked it is not present anymore.
so when cloaked dropships come out players standing ontop of them will fall through it? doubt it. |

the RDV are drones, they don't need them to actually stay there after cloaking, the dematerializing would look like the burning up of bodies or vehicles after destruction |

It's not a bug. I've simply jumped onto them when they are dropping vehicles and taken a ride for fun. They a few seconds after cloaking and you are left to fall to your death. I don't think CCP intended for you to be able to take a ride up into space :).

It is certainly not intended for you to ride up into space, but that certainly would be fun! Take a few swarm launchers up into an ongoing fleet battle? :) |
