So far I'm very much enjoying this game. However, there are 2 things I'd like to see in future beta versions or at the very least in the final release
1. Spawn Protection Maybe for 1.5-2 seconds after your boots hit the ground you could take no damage? I feel this is important because every spawn location is in the same general spot facing the same general direction, making it very easy to get spawn camped, especially if you're being rolled over.
1.5. Randomized spawns Most FPS games do this. When you select a spawn location, instead of spawning in a fixed spot, you spawn in a random location up to a certain distance away.
Maybe you could implement this so my back isn't to the enemies when I spawn at objective A.
2. Better Hit Detection and hit notification I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem, but I'm never sure if my bullets or grenades (especially grenades) are hitting anything. I don't even see/hear many of my grenades exploding. I'm often surprised when I kill an enemy because I didin't think I was hitting him. |

Spawn protection: NO. Just no. They're already going to be fixing the glitch that causes spawns to happen in a specific location, and make them work as intended, which is random area-spawning. There are MANY threads already on the topic of spawning, and this has been mentioned in most of them.
Making people invulnerable isn't a solution, it's an even more easily-exploited problem.
Hit detection and notification I definitely agree about though. |

I only wanted a very brief period where you didn't take damage (or took reduced damage) when you spawned. But if they're fixing that spawn issue, it's not a problem.
Also, is it just me or does the game kind of go "duhhhh...." when you hit the weapon switch button? There's a very noticeable and incredibly irritating wait time before the game realizes you wanted to switch weapons. I can't tell you how many times I hit weapon switch, then hit it again because nothing seemed to be happening, then switched back and forth between my guns and died.
Also, for God's sakes, LET US MELEE WHEN WE'RE RELOADING. |

I find the weapon switching way too slow as well.
Also agreed on melee during weapon switch. But in addition, want melee when melee button is first pressed, instead of at least a second after you've pressed it 2 - 5 times, and NEVER on the first press. Responsive controls are good controls, and we don't have them for melee, which is where responsiveness is MOST important.
A lot of aspects to the controls just don't react properly when you press the button. |

I want to see a better aiming mechanic. It may be too late for this but I feel like the controls would be 200% better if they did the same thing CoD (in my opinion has the best aiming mechanic) does. If anyone here has played CoD, you know you can set your aiming sensitivity ultra high and still be somewhat accurate. This is because the panning speed slows down when your cross-hair is over a target, and this allows for much faster reaction time. If they did this, it would improve the experience three times over for me, and make everyone else more accurate |

1. No, we don't need it cause of 1.5
1.5, this is how it is supposed to work, the fact that it is not is a known bug and will be getting fixed SOON(TM)
2. I don't think you understand how the game works. CCP are trying to make a realistic recoil game. IT takes time to balance but DUST will be the first FPS to have realistic recoil and shields both. It takes time to balance correctly. ITs not hit detection thats off, its recoil.
All of this information is readily available if you just simply search the forums before posting.

Hit detection is WAY off.
I've managed to run in circles around an enemy with my SMG practically pressed up against his back, blasting away with my SMG, and had NO hit markers, and NO damage dealt, for a full magazine, reloaded, then done EXACTLY the same thing to EXACTLY the same enemy at EXACTLY the same range and killed him off with the next mag.
EDIT: Not to mention, the devs have specifically mentioned hit detection as a known issue, and have improved it already with each build, but it still needs more work. |

Yeah hit detection still seems off for me. I've had a couple instances (though less than the previous build) where I've had another player centered in my sights and didn't hit once. |

1. no, to much hand-holding already in battle if you ask me.
1.5. Spawns are currently bugged, and that is the point to have spawns being fixed is so they are not in a single point.
2. They will always be making the hit detection and such better. Also, the grenades do have a habit of disappearing currently. |
