couldnt find the thread on this know theres is one out there
had a few problems in this area
was close behind a scout dropsuit ( 4-5 meters at a guess ) in a hevay suit with a HMG and emptied a full mag at him only to have every bullit miss then him turn around and 1 shot me with a pistol
on another match no matter wot suit i was wearing weather it was heavy ,assault, scout soon as a bullet hit me from any enemy HMG, forge gun, AR, SMG,pistol u name it id die instanly needless to say i plodded on and started using vheicles so i didnt die instantly and aleast get some kills of my own for some sp
ive empied my entire stock of ammo in some gun fights and not had a single hit land on the enemy this was in the matches when it wasnt one shot kills
i dont know if heads shots account for me instantly dieing or what but theres not right here
i just got really really annoyed with the game it just wasnt any fun to play

Hit markers are a bit bugged ATM they only show up 50% of the time as for you dieing so fast the probable cause are prototype weapons, it may seem like one shot to you but it's probably 7 or 8 |

You have to skill up to get better dropsuits, modules (armor and shield), and weapons. So expect to die a lot from those that already have until you do. |

Yeah I just got on and have raised my skill a bit but I've noticed, with sniper rifles, the only place I can register a hit with a taget is either center mass, or if he's still, in the head. I've tried shooting people in the legs or arms to get around whatever cover they were trying to use but despite a red dot it doesn't register the hit. I dont know if the server registers it but I know I don't get the red 'X' on my screen.
Also targets are really choppy as they move around in the zoomed scope on snipers rifles
Anyone else having/ noticed those problems? Lol yes I'm new so it could be me. |

I've had this issue but other way around I was shooting someone and I thought I had missed a few shots when suddenly his armour disappeared and he pretty much died after that. Also especially with sniper rifles hit detection is often problematic when someone is partially behind a cover as the game hits on shield only (gun turrets for example) or it just registers person being fully behind the wall despite half of his torso being visible and thus giving you the "grey out" dot instead of red. Hitting on running people is also more then not a game of chance when hitting the button at exactly right moment registers a few seconds too late, though this can be sometimes used to lead on shots to get a kill. |

Same problem, some guy is hackig an objective and I shoot him with about 7 - 9 bullets at point blank and none of them were registered. Having less problems withthat on my heavy account, but it's still problematic. 1 v 1 Heavy and assault in a close to close-medium ranges heavy should win majority of the time.
I'm not saying it should be OP, the assault can always get some distance for an upper advantage |

this hit detection is really really annoying it is still a beta so guess ill have to just deal with it till its fixed
