X1 LEGEND Villore Sec Ops Gallente Federation 5	Posted - 2012.07.06 22:57:00 - [1] - Quote I went to open the DUST 514 beta today and waited forever to try and get into the game and come to find out i receive a beautiful message telling me "YOU DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE ACCESS TO THE CLOSED BETA. EITHER YOUR VOUCHER HAS EXPIRED OR ITS VALIDITY HASN'T BEGUN YET. TO GET FULL ACCESS PURCHASE THE 20 DOLLAR MERCENARY PACK IN THE PS STORE. PRESS THE PS BUTTON TO QUIT THE GAME. Thank you CCP for a beta that i haven't gotten to even experience i couldn't even get passed the character screen for a week now and this is what i get. I have no idea what this rude message means but im done... I don't see the point in this forum if nothing gets fixed.

Because you get guaranteed access to the *beta** every weekend, get almost $20 worth of Aurum and a butt-load of equipment that no-one else will get. You'll also get the ability to play the game in it's varying stages of development for several months longer than anyone who hasn't bought the Merc Pack and quite likely either get a huge starting advantage when the full game is released or maybe a thank you from CCP. Dry your eyes Princess and HTFU. Beta is an unfinished version of the game. The entire point of your free* entry to the free beta of a free game is to be a tester who finds problems with the game so that the developer (CCP) can make it better.

Why wasnt that event taken place during a messed up beta? And i didnt get it during a weekend pass period, what are you talking about?

Or did you get the code from some website? If you got it through email it said that it was only good till July 2nd. If you got it from a site then you may not have known this. I don't completely agree with paying for a beta but it's 100% optional and it does support them. If I had more money i'd probably buy it too. A website has been trying hard to get me a beta code. They gave me 2 but they were the expired ones and they said they received a code directly from CCP especially for me. It didn't work but they're looking into it for me. I appreciate the site for putting in the effort to help get me back into the beta and I appreciate CCP for sending them the code. If I don't get in now, that's fine. There's sure to be plenty of codes. Just be patient and wait. The beta isn't going anywhere for awhile. I
