I went to open the DUST 514 beta today and waited forever to try and get into the game and come to find out i receive a beautiful message telling me "YOU DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE ACCESS TO THE CLOSED BETA. EITHER YOUR VOUCHER HAS EXPIRED OR ITS VALIDITY HASN'T BEGUN YET. TO GET FULL ACCESS PURCHASE THE 20 DOLLAR MERCENARY PACK IN THE PS STORE. PRESS THE PS BUTTON TO QUIT THE GAME. Thank you CCP for a beta that i haven't gotten to even experience i couldn't even get passed the character screen for a week now and this is what i get. I have no idea what this rude message means but Im done... I don't see the point in these forums if nothing gets fixed. |

You probably aren't in the merc pack which means you can play in the next beta weekend. Every other weekend is your lot. |

So why isnt that the initial message that comes up onto my screen when i open the game. I wait an unnecessary amount of time, get to my character page, click on a created character that i never even got to use, wait some more..., get to a server connection issue notification message press X to continue, wait some more...., get back to the original start page and press start to get into the game, wait some more... server message press X again, wait some more..., then the unexpected mercenary pack message. Ever since the day i got the beta ive done this process over and over, except for today i decided to go as far to wait some more and got that message. |

I completely agree with you X1. I had created my character and had gotten into two matches. dropping me in without any kind of tutorial or anything then i get off and wait until this weekend to play it then i get a ridiculous loading screen then i finally get to my character, only to be directed to quit the game and that I had to pay to play this Beta.. i was completely surprised that i gotta pay for a beta that we are trying to help them fix problems in... A lil disappointed to say the least. this game has potential and im willing to help improve but if i got pay 20.00 just to play an unfinished game then whats the point.... |

Well there's 2 easy fixes here.
To the OP, as mentioned in the previous reply to your other identical tantrum thread, you didn't read your email. It will say it was a limited key. Your fault, no one else's.
To Jokai, well if you don't have a full key, are too impatient to wait for one like most of us did, and are too stubborn to buy your way in (and you should be damn thankful that's even an option) then you can wait like the rest of the world for it to be released where it will be free. Problem solved. |

Kind of a a petty thing to be complaining about. It's free access to the early beta versions of a FREE to play game.
You misunderstood the email, that's on you. Sure it sucks, but things like that happen. You might be able to get in a little bit because the key might be for a different weekend.
Also, with the merc pack, you aren't paying for the beta key, the key just comes with it. |

Yeah I just read my whole email over again... damn it.. I was really interested in playing this, or been looking forward to it, don't really got the extra cash to sling around so that's why i had thought i had a get in free card :( guess not. bummer. @onlyelisha thx for the info |
