This is more of a question then anything else but my friend and I both got the first beta weekend passes to play and loved the game so far. Well we started to plot out how to get the Merc pack so we could continue though the rest of the beta weekends seeing as we only received a weekend pass. Well with the crazy week we both had, we were unable to get the Merc pack before this weekends beta test. OK now here is where it gets confusing for me.
I get the Email for this Beta test weekend and figure what the hell I will see if I can play. Well after telling my friend and her attempting to log on too I get the "you are not part of this weekend test" message and went oh well I will just have to get the Merc pack. Well she logged in and is currently playing and having fun. She has not purchased the Merc pack and we both got the first mail stating we are only able to play one weekend.
My question is after all of this is what was the selection process to get Full Beta Access and why did I not qualify. I mean if some people were able to get it by chance without anything saying that some people would be able to continue without buying the Merc Pack why should I have to buy it. At this point I am just going to wait for the Free Weekends and just wait for the game to come out. I would really like an answer though as to how people were selected. |

I see the income reasons why they would make something like the merc pack , but why would they give out beta keys that would only play for one weekend? |

Are you sure your code wasn't for this past weekend? Have you asked your friend if she received another code this weekend? |

I'm not sure what's going on there as of yet. Any idea if she managed to catch a code off of Twitter/Facebook/Google+? |

Same thing happened to me. Both my frien and I got the weekend beta pass but mine expired and I decided to get the Merc pack. He didn't buy the Merc pack, but he can still play. |

I think some beta codes sent were actually full beta codes instead of weekend. She just got lucky. |

I checked both of our e-mails and they say the same things. I personally think it is a bug seeing as people are able to play Dust without a code if they use another account on their PS3. I have not done this as I want to play the one I started and do not like starting over. |

PlayStation Home may still have some codes in the Dust area... I haven't heard if the 10000 have been all used yet. I would try to go get a full access from there if your have economical issues. |

Just wondering, when you logged on to Dust the first time, and it asked for your email, did you give it the exact email that your PSN account is connected to? I have two accounts, my unused account being tied to my active email, and my main account being tied to an @live.com email I made just for that account. Got the beta key on my main, used it on my main, but gave it my gmail when it asked for my email. Just figured it would be for news flashes and things like that. For whatever reason, my main PSN account can no longer access the beta, but my unused account that is tied to my gmail has full access. I was confused about it but I think whatever email you typed in that first day, has to be connected to your PSN in order to play. |
