I've seen a few posts about this but they're a bit wishy washy so here it is...
Please include a way for friends to participate in a battle together.
I've seen many people asking for this on the forums, and heard many people on voice chat complaining about the same thing.
We know it WILL happen as this is a core functionality of DUST, but as a core functionality, can you include it please? |

We can already send mail to other players, you could add an option in there to add them to your friends list or watch list.
From the friends list or watch list, add an option to join the game the player is in.
I realize that right now you're controlling the player counts on either team, and party systems can upset that balance.
Just have the server refuse attempts to join if the game is one-sided, or give the player the option to join the other team.
Any chance to play with or against friends is going to get the interest and hype of DUST out there.

I have no doubt it will be in there and that it's on the horizon, I just wanted to make sure they knew it was something that we are eagerly awaiting. I have found CCP to generally listen to input better then most companies. Maybe it's a beta thing where team play would overwhelm unorganized groups and result in more complaints then exploration and testing.
It just seems like an intuitive feature, one that has to come eventually and on the surface doesn't appear overly difficult to add, so that's why I bring it up.
Even just a mention of if and when it will be in the beta, and if there's a reason that it's been excluded so far, would be satisfying. |
