Just like the titles suggests could we get a limit on how many vehicles can be used a match and or how many can be out at once on the battle field?
I played the beta over the weekend and all I saw where vehicles being abuse. In many games I only saw Drop ships and Tanks on the field with the only ground troops are being the ppl that didn't buy the skills for the vehicles or prefer infantry. "about 5 ppl on each team lol"
My Ideas:
-Couldn't we make it for you can only call a vehicle in only 3 times a match? -Make the vehicles have there own re-spawn timer? Say your vehicle dies, you then re-spawn and try to drop in another, but -it'll have a cool down on it preventing the abuse. -Allow only 6 Vehicles on the map at all times. 3 for each side? -Make the cost of a Vehicles insanely high? Costing 1-5mil for one?
Every game that has Vehicles in them. Mainly has the vehicles set to re-spawn timer on the field. Or some form of them not being abused or too over powered. -BF -UT-2004 -Tribes
What do you guys think? |

This is the beta, vehicles are only available as they are now for testing puposes. |

Yes I'm aware of this, how-ever here are my ideas to balance them for the future as from what I got out of the beta they are still unbalanced and OP. Perhaps in the next beta they wont be so OP. Just as with all beta's everything is in testing and everyone has to suggest something in order to improve the game. Thus the reason for a beta.
Other then the vehicles the game is great. Still some weapons need some balancing overall, but still a great game. I would also like to see even more Vehicles later on perhaps a anti-tank/anti-air jeep or something lol. |

As in EVE if you can afford to loose it you should be allowed to have it. The only restriction on vehicles should be cost. I just hope free militia vehicles do not make it past the BETA. Not even the LAV (although LAV militia LAV should be very cheap.) |

You can make one, just fit an LAV with a anti-vehicle turret of some kind. |

What you suggest is an arbitrary restriction of a gameplay that you do not like.
Having a limit on the number you can deploy is arbitrary and doesn't make sense. If your Corp wants to use a tactic that is similar to Airborne Cavalry and use a ton of dropships, then you should be able to do that. And if the enemy wants to use all missile tank HAV's to counter you, then fine.
Putting in an arbitrary rule to limit gameplay is stupid and campy.
And they have said repeatedly that having a vehicle just spawn on the battlefield is what they are trying to AVOID.
They want you to call it in and own it and feel a loss when it is destroyed.
Those other games you mentioned are >> that way. |

As many have stated, this is just the result of getting Militia vehicles for free.
Once free vehicles are removed, people should be more than allowed to spam vehicles if they're willing to foot the bill to replace them.
I think you forget that there are going to be people who specialize in using certain vehicles like Tanks. You seem to imply that everyone should just go for an infantry profession and drive vehicles occasionally. |

Well, I was thinking that to maybe prevent as much vehicle spamming the match lays down random vehicle crippling landmines at the start all over the map. Also, with the free militia vehicles I think that they might want to keep that. Think, if you were new and couldn't afford a vehicle and the price was very intimidating, that might be a turnoff because all the longer players would have them and destroy you essentially. |

At least Militia vehicles are only cardboard cutouts of the real thing. I do agree, though, don't give 'em away for free. |

Big problem with that is if you have an idiot team that spams militia vehicles, they'll max out the quota and then those of us with well skilled and fit vehicles get screwed because we can't deploy a vehicle actually worth using. |

1) all vehiceles MUST cost lot of money (prices showing in some first video about dust) 2) maybe restricted by skills if you dont have skill you can calling vehicele 1 time\life per match next each level +1 call i think its will be enough 3) some restrics for vehicles like not more than 2 dropships 3 tanks 5 jeep (for current map\number players) on each team |

The only reasons for the excess of vehicles is to, firstly, stress test the servers and, secondly, so it's easier to identify vehicle bugs. It would be pretty difficult to figure out there was a collison bug if there was only 1 vehicle on the map at a time.
If I were you, I'd abuse them as you might as well. Everybody else is.... |

A limit to the number of vehicles has already been implemented actually, seems to be 4 or 5 vehicles per team
If you try to call in one while your team has too many vehicles, you'll get a "too many vehicles on your team" message, instead of a message that your vehicle was queued |
