After using the dropshopa bit, i like it a lot, but often times, i found myself the only one in the DS.
And it got me thinking, why not have a lighter scout craft with a weak-ish maingun for killing infantry mostly.
It should be rather squishy, mostly relying on speed and evasion to survive tank and missiles.
All in all, it would serve the purpose of the Little bird from BF3 |

How about when mechs come out the gallente one is a scout type that is **** weak has hardly any firepower but can zip about for recon and getting snipers etc to the hard to reach places ? I saw an awsome concept for exactly this on deviant art but cant for the life of me find it again. It basicly looked like an extension of the scout suit all light wieght and with some wings. Were the cool looking type of wings not the my little pony ones. Let the ammar Mechs be the big fat brawler mechs I say.

well, tbh, the vehicle itself is of little import to me, as long as i get to zip around.
However a light scout might be for pilot +3 or 4 infantry, which might have other uses, right in between a light flightsuit and the heavier dropship. |

Greetings and Salutations, i agree with your concept and would like to say that i would love to have light scout planes, and maybe even very fast jet like planes for dogfights in the sky and large wing shaped bombers to fly above the battlefield, maybe call them in with a remote, costs like 80,000 ISK each time you use it? |

I'm in favor of hover bike that's stupid fast with no weapons.
Actually a hover board that you can do tricks on would be bad a$$. |

So... a single-seat "scout" air vehicle? take the guns off of Halo's Banshee, give it some bolbous masses, and paint it green. Viola', you have a Gallente version of what you're asking.
This would actually be useful for infiltration maneuvers, especially if it gets a cloaky option. Since it is so extremely light, it would have about as much shield/armor as a well-tanked Assault dropsuit. Of course, it's unbelievably fast as a result. |

thats certainly an option, and it might be a better one, but what i had in mind was basically just the little bird from bf3, i.e. a small scout craft able to carry 4 total(3+1) and have a gun good for killing infantry, but bad at killing vehicles. |

I'm throwing a vote in favour of a "scout dropship" with less pasenger capacity and faster movement.
Also in favour of an even smaller scout vehicle with the option of a cloaking module. And maybe a jetbike as a loltastic AUR-only item with no practical use except fast movement. |
