To start with, if you have any large topics that contain a lot of good discussion on whatever it is that concerns you, whether it be a request or feedback, please post it, and I'll integrate it here. Now, for a rudimentary list of what I've noticed being mentioned so far...
Feedback:
Vehicles Dropships. Many, many players concerned with these right now for a variety of reasons. Using them to crush players, bad pilots, and flying them up to nearly unreachable positions to keep people pinned down being some I've seen.
Controls. Haven't seen this as much, but there have been some people noting the difficulty of using vehicles because of the controls. They also aren't listed anywhere, makes it trial and error.
Drivers/pilots. Saw some discussion on what the point of having skills for the vehicles is if anyone can just hop in and use them. Seems a fairly valid concern, but may be void as a result of wanting to have players able to easily test vehicles.
Voice chat. On/off. The game starts with voice chat off by default, despite the game definitely lending it to voice chat usage. This has confused some players and keeps some from ever hearing other players.
Who am I talking to? As a result of the confusion, haven't seen this one pop up as much, but even once voice chat is activated, players can't tell who's talking without bringing up the chat panel. What's even more bothersome is it seems voice chat doesn't distinguish between teams, so you can hear the other team's players as well as your own.
Mute. Currently, there doesn't appear to be any option or method to mute other players that are being annoying intentionally or unintentionally. This should be a standard feature.
Nanoinjectors, healing, and reviving. Nanoinjectors. Few beginning players have any idea what these are, and know that they're required to heal and revive other players.
Healing/reviving. Basically no one has any idea who needs either, and because no one even knows to equip nanoinjectors, for the most part, no one knows they can do it. This needs a lot of work.
Playstation Move. I haven't tried this yet and can't say much, but from what I've heard this could use a lot of work.
Movement Action Cancellations. Aiming/sprinting/crouching/reloading are somewhat unwieldy. One cancels the other, kind of unclear why.
General combat. Melee seems too clunky, to the point of waiting on a reload rather than attempting it to finish off another player.
Sniper rifle needs better draw distance and means to stabilize it to make it useful.
General UI Chat visible without having to hit select.
Improved visibility of modules pro/cons, or a compare tool would be useful.
Requests. Merc Quarters improvements. Keyboard/mouse support. List of requested features, explained in more detail, by paragraph. |
