Weapons need to be more balanced, again look at halo,it has fantastic balance(see halo CE)
All the weapons beyond the assault rifle are awkward, and even it is too a degree.
Also the guns need aim assist,if it were a pc game you wouldn't,but console games do.
The sniper rifle needs to ditch the awkward wobble and have a reticule when not zoomed(all the guns reticules should be different),and the rocket launcher needs to become useful, then theres the pistol it needs to be remade from the ground up,visually and how much damage it does(or in this case doesnt do )
You also need the ability too pick up enemy weapons, its horrible not being able too,and the ammo count needs to be more visible, see Killzone or halo.(vehicles also need balancing, see star hawke and halo)
Also loadouts need to be made more accessible
for the health and shield you need actual health and shield bars, the numbers are unattractive and awkward, and the amount might need to be tweaked..maybe
Also the vehicle need to play more like Halo's and starhawkes(preferably halos since they are slightly more fine tuned)as they are,I hate driving them which is sad because I LOVE vehicles in the other games.then theres vehicle customization make it simpler, and make it so things pop in the menu better, right now the blue on blue is kind of hard to see things in.Lets not forget the near unreadable text, please fix it.
Then there's customization instead of picking default full outfits you should allow actual customization(like arms /helmet /chest/ legs /boots) this would not only give your characters a much more personal feel but it would also allow you to earn more money by being able to sell each piece(cost 10 cents per use or 1.50$ for limitless have 50+ in each area to buy and you have alot of money from me(I put in over 500 hours of halo reach alone for that))
The pre battle hangout room is an amazing Idea, but it needs some tweaking make the camera movements not make your character turn, give them the ability to jump and move faster and maybe some emotes or something(like wave, sit or something)
Then of course you need map packs, charge 3$ for every new map or something or give them out for free and add a bunch of new armor/weapon/vehicle customization
As for ways to earn money with pre match bonuses, have bonuses like 10% extra ammo upon spawn or pickup,or 50% less spawn time,or No spawn time.Or even something like 50% off in game items for 2 hours,Id actually buy these every once and a while.Other ones that would give people a slight advantage would be things like 5% speed bonus for an hour(not enought to make you invincible but enough to give a slight edge)
That being said this game has some seriously amazing potential and I cant wait too see where it goes
I have no problems with the guns for the most part, as well as shooting mechanics. Do a better job of explaining how its "in between", and why that's actually a bad thing.
Giving sniper rifles reticules when not zoomed in would only lead to snipers hipfiring 1hit kill shots at close range. This is just a plain old bad idea.
Rocket launchers are effective anti-vehicle weapons, they lock on, shoot multiple rockets. What more do you want? Do you want to make it into an overpowered anti-infantry weapon as well?
Vehicle seem fine to me. If you want a better vehicle, don't use the free militia vehicles, and invest in a nice advanced or prototype vehicle. Be more specific with your descriptions of how you want vehicles to be instead of "more like Halo"
Louadouts are fine. Pick your suit, pick your weapons, pick your equipment, and pick your suit modules. Simple enough once you actually get use to it.
The dropsuits are not "outfits", they are not there for personalization, they are for function. Heavy is for high armor and special heavy weapons, scout is for speed stealth and stamina, logistics is for carrying lots of support equipment (for reviving, resupplying, and dropping spawn points), and assault is for general combat situations. Piece customization would be cool, but not really needed.
I would like weapon pickups from fallen enemies, but such a system would need to take into account if you have the right slots to equip the gun, if you have enough PG/CPU, if you have the skills needed to use that gun.
Having map packs is a stupid idea. Not only does it divide the playerbase, there will be thousands of planets we can play on when the game releases, that's right, THOUSANDS, and each of them will have many maps. This game is set in and wil be linked in with the EVE Online MMORPG, aside from the real time financial interactions (being hired to conquer planets for them so they can harvest resources), and the real time communications, we get to experience the massive number of planets that universe has to offer.
