So I have been playing Dust on my brother's PS3. That's the only PS3 in the house, so I depend on his willingness to let me play to actually get to kill things in the game. Interestingly, he let me play a game of LittleBigPlanet while I was waiting for Dust to DL (I forgot that you couldn't DL in the background while playing a game, go figure). He went "I want to play too" and just as I was handing him the controller, he got a second controller and logged on his account and joined my game.
I had completely forgotten that LBP has a feature that let's you log into another player account in the PS3 so you could play the game. After that we went on to play Modern Warfare 3 and he told me to grab the controller and press x. Interestingly, I got to play online with him. This made me think back to the game Resistance 3, where you could play with more than one PSN account at the same time so that you don't have to log again when you're alone and have to go through the process of getting any progress done...
...and this is where my request comes into play:
Please consider adding split screen multi-player to this game. The game could benefit of having more players online to fill player quotas faster and it would also let households with more than one person play at the same time if they only have one PS3 available. Not only that, you should also consider have the second player be able to play with their own PSN account in order to make the most of their play time.
I think the UI might need a bit of simplification if you indeed consider this option as viable. |

Crap, I click the post too fast and forgot to add another thing that I wanted to see taken into consideration.
Players that are playing in the same PS3 should be considered as part of the same team always. So, if I play with my brother, we will be grouped in the same team as him, or he would be in the same team as I am. This might be a bit hard to pull off, since there might be times when one of us would be playing for a Corp and one of us might be fighting for that corp.
I guess you could solve this issue by prioritizing the main logged player and give the secondary player access to the game to play in the same corp as the main account. |

If they are going to do this, then you might want to buy a 3D tv with the glasses. Have you seen Split Screen 3D tv |

I've seen that.
Curiously, my btoher has one of those Playstation TVs that have that SimulView tech. That video looked interesting too though which may help the issue. |

no thank you, split screen automaticaly gimps two players froma competitve game, i would (as would others) prefer not to have to carry two dead weight teammates because they purposely gimp themselves by making their screens uber small, plus, mor eoften then not, split screen players, ...well they tend to suck...
edit, just saw the 3d video, but the fact is, if you can afford a 3d tv, and two pairs of glasses, you should not have only one ps3 in the house... |
