Planet side 2 has this implemented perfectly , I wonder if CCP will put this in the game at release, for exampl in planet side 2 none of the factions items look or are the same , this will be nice thing to include in dust , for example the assault drop suit of the galante and the caldira have different looks, also please include custom emblems, weapons and armor skin, here's ome pics just incase my message is unclear

On the game's website, I am seeing someone in an Amarrian heavy dropsuit wielding a weapon of Minmatar origin.
Makes me cringe every time. |

It would certainly make sense to have all the racial weapons and suits separate |

Well, there's no sense in implementing a hard limitation. Just provide weapon bonuses when you match the proper weapons with the proper gear. Like in EVE Online. |

...
to put this bluntly.
THIS.IS.A.BETA!!!
adding new skins is not needed, nor even wanted, this beta is to test functionality, and functionally what is the difference between a amarr heavy, or a caldari heavy? from a gameplay perspective, their isn't one. this is the beta, we only need the very core elements, adding frivolous additions only decreases the effectiveness of the beta, when the full game is released their will be multiple racial dropsuits, but for teh beta, it is unnecessary. |

I didn't say put it in now dude I know it's beta , I've been here for months , anyway think of it this way when the full game releases and the different factions have the same exact looking gear, that is plain , I want each faction to look unique |

I would like different racial versions for every dropsuit as well. I would love to see a Galente and Amarr assault, and a Caldari heavy, etc. MAG also had each faction having a version of all the armors. I hope these will be added after the beta. |

They're going to do this... right now they're testing basic functionality. |

This WILL also be the case for Dust 514, but the difference is that in Dust 514 you can buy and equip any of the 4 factions stuff. Which I think is SO much better than being stuck with only your faction's gear. Sometimes it creates imbalances (MAG the perfect example), and sometimes you just don't feel like being forced to use a specific Assault Rifle only because its the one offered by your faction. |

Sorry, but im against this idea. MAG had this system implemented and it was horrible. there was always one side that had the best equipment, so that cause the biggest division and unbalance within the players. i dont want that to happen to dust |
