This is false. I have been spawning Gunlogies for a while now and have been killed by militia assult rifles many times. I have a very expensive fit on my tank and forge guns dont hurt me to much. But, When someone attacks me with a rifle my 4k shields dissapear almost instantley.. I dont think this is right seeing my tank costs 200k.. And if this happens with my sage which i will be in very soon, I will have confirmed that its not just militia..

The heavy machine gun was never designed to go against tanks, its specifically anti-infantry. The Forge Gun however is designed to fight tanks, and trust me, it works very well even in this build. And if you're complaining about the heavy's weak armor, upgrade to standard, the Militia specifically got its armor nerfed.

I've never had an issue with small arm fire, either with Standard HAVs or Marauders. What sort of fit do you have? Because you should be able to turn and laugh and people shooting you with ARs even with the glitch in the small arm damage.
