I have yet to meet a mass driver user that I can kill without almost dieing myself.
I have a 2.5 KDR right now and cannot hold my own against Mass Drivers.

So before you go running stating that the Mass Driver is under powered, buy the better tier versions of it and get it to level 5. I think pretty much all lower tier weapons are supposed to suck against higher level players, so we won't really know the depth of a weapon unless we were all at the same point in level with all of our weapons.

I went up against Asher earlier today, and I can confirm he has gun game. He gave me a run for my money, so it's not like you can argue "well you must suck". That said, I am an assault dog myself, and rarely notice myself dying to mass drivers, and usually if I do die to them, it's because the guy using it got the final hit in a group of enemies. However, I also don't recall really going head-to-head with a mass-driver user. they don't seem very common. It seems more of a skill gun than anything. I reckon if more people find it hard to use, I wouldn't be opposed to slightly increasing the magazine size, nor would I be opposed to slightly increasing it's dmg vs. vehicles. but one thing about it doing more damage to shields is, shields are notoriously resilient to explosive damage. Armor, on the other hand, is notoriously melted by explosive damage. Do what Asher said. Upgrade it to prototype, and reap the rewards.
