Had a tank summoned on center of the map building in one game, it finally was killed but the obsurdity of it is what I'm getting at. It seems like CCP is going for real live type scenarios (no alert when grenade near etc.), so landing a tank on a central building should fall under this category.

if tanks are getting airlifted in anyways, why should it matter where it gets dropped as far as location goes? as far as dealing with it, you know where its going to be, get a vantage point and start taking it out. you simply need to figure out an appropriate counter tactic. theyre not going to be up there for long if you get a swarm launcher and start raining fire down on them from above, so you have to call in a militia drop ship or have someone drop you off with their drop ship, but how do you think they got up there in the first place? |

Killing a tank that can move away from damage is too easy,. all I did was respawn on a Heavy and SWARMed them off the roof. Kill the tank, the pilot, and to my surprise and extra passenger (or was it a bystander?)... |

Think for a second what game your playing, its relation to eve. And then reconsider your question?
Perfectly legal and as everyone says, easy target. Swarm isnt bad but FORGE FTW! |

get a heavy with a forge gun on a even taller building.
enjoy as it obliterates nearly any vehicle that they can see (with the exception of medium and high speed movers) |
