If you guys email me directly i'll send you a buddy invite to EVE which will give me a free PLEX, which i'll sell and split the profit with you 50/50 so you'll get about 200-250 million isk you can start to invest ready to move over to dust at a later date. |

No not at all, I get a PLEX if you sign up, which i sell and split the isk with.
It's fairly common actually,I'd get shot scamming on the Beta forums. |

Buddy program can be legit. But goons really perfected the art of recruitment scamming. Id say you run a 50/50 chance at not getting your cut from the plex. |

If you pay up 250mils up front for the recruit in question then it's legit, otherwise it's a scam.  |

Seriously, **** off. I'm trying to a make a profit and get some dust people into EVE. Not into GS. I can't recruit scam here without risking my dust beta so **** off and **** up another thread. |

Not all of these are scams. I was skeptical, but I got my 250 mil ISK. I'm willing to pay it forward as well. The problem with paying the 250 mil up front is that if the other doesn't start a paying account, neither party gets a dime. The way I see it, you end up with an extra week of free trial either way, so what do you really have to lose? |

The PLEX is awarded if the new user in question subscribes for at least 3 months with the given trial account.
This is not really a scam to split it as a reward incentive, and is extremely common as it is an easy win-win for both parties involved. |

In EVE it is only a scam if you get caught...
That said, I've done this myself a few times, when inviting friends I split the PLEX I get as a reward, believe me, for a new player, the 200M ISK goes a LONG way. But I wouldn't call it a scam if he back out of the promise. People don't join the game for the ISK, and he only get the PLEX if the new player renews the trial account to a full one, effectively giving him the first month the new player pays.
Even then, by being invited, you get 21 days trial period, instead of the normal 14, and as always, you don't lose the remaining trial period if you sign up for a full sub, the remaining trial time is added to your account as full time as well. |

Only if you sort the market the wrong way.
The current norm is about 450M (if you are REALLY lucky) to about 499M (seems very few cross the "magic" 500M barrier)
I believe you may be thinking about the ETC trades, where the cost have peaked at 800M last I checked (about a year ago), but that is for 60 days, not 30. |
