I suggest a random general area spawn instead of the current specific area spawn. the spawn camping in the beta is horrendous. players with remote charges just plant them at specific spawns and camp, wait for a player to spawn and boom. |

The whole point that I materialize, from no where and always at the same place (objective A is notoriously horrendous for this) is tactically F*CKing ridiculous. The only way to avoid this is to use a drop link, but the drop link takes twice as long, so by the time you do get in the point is gone and all is for not.
IF this is SUPPOSED to be a more TACTICAL game, TACTICALLY speaking (coming from a military background) IF I was to go into battle, why would I show up at the same f*cking location just to get raped?
I thought that CCP was attempting to produce something here that was NOT COD/BF3/MOH. Instead it is surely going in that direction. I ma sad with this new map an dhow the spewing has been handled. All of the spawn points are campable to an extent that I DO NOT WANT to continue to play, especially IF I have to go for a half-marathon just to ensure a fighting chance. |

If I'm trying to take an objective and the bad men keep spawning on it to stop me hell yes I'm gona camp it.
I have died about 2500 times so far in dust beta and I can count on my fingers and toes how many times I have been spawn camped. If I die to a spawn camp its MY fault and I know ya all gona rage about this but it is really your fault for dieing to spawn camp.
Keep spawning In dumb places you will keep dieing in dumb ways.

Slightly agrees with Sha... thankfully he is only on the ground when he is not piloting a Dropship to epic levels.
But to be honest if I die from spawning a location immediately I should know that the location is being watched and to spawn somewhere else and move in from a more advantageous position.
If you keep spawning and dying to the same locaiton several times in a row and expecting a different result... well.. idk. |

What if instead of a general spawn area(not that im saying its a bad idea) spawning players get a short invulnerability if enimies are close |

I agree. The ease of spawn camping needs to be removed.
Maybe make the spawn points teleport the spawning players to some distance away.

CCP have said that the spawn point being static is a bug.
Intent is to be random in an area around the spawn.
That will fix spawn camping. |

CCP, I've suggested it before, and gladly do so again.
remove the current spawn point mechanics entirely, and see them as beacons only. Fixed beacons are already mapped, and known, and more powerful, mobile beacons needs some tracking time to lock on to.
Then instead of a countdown from 10, you are literally dropped from the MCC on a ballistic trajectory towards the selected "drop uplink" that takes 10 seconds to complete. You have a little control over your flight, and therefore can randomize the landing point.
The problem that needs solving is spawning inside a stricture and in vehicles.. |

Would be cool. But I'm pretty sure the 10 sec timer is for loading the game and players, so it's kinda needed. |

I dunno, vehicles still have at least a low LoD, it's why you can see them from the spawn menu. Players? Sure.. I've seen a harsh stutter or five when spawning in a busy objective. |

The literal drop off the MCC can also be used for explaining a "spawn shield" feature that'll last while the environment loads:
The inertial dampener creates a short-lived cocoon around the player protecting the clone by dampening all inbound and outbound damage by for instance 75%. |

This is a known issue and is being worked on. Till then you have many alternatives. 1spawn from drop ships. 2. Spawn from a nearby rcu. 3. Spawn at a Mobilelink set up by your team. There is so many alternative that once you realize it's being camped, you can try another tactic. I agree you shouldn't sown in the exact 2 meter spot e every time, but there are alternatives. It's called falling back. If some people had the way they would alway spwn directly behind someone hacking an objective and that wouldn't be cool either. I mean the people "camping" an objective are just trying to keep you from having it. And good teams will cover any possible inversion zone on those objectives.
Ps; you can't have mcc drops from the defending team, if they dont have an mcc on the field. I got a better suggestion dont let anyone spawn at the objective when it's in the limbo state. If invul timers become a thing, they should end as soon as the person moves, or takes any real action like looking around for a place to chunk a grenade. The mcc drops installations for you to spawn from, it's not responsible for your presence on the field directly. |

you're not really the problem since it's available to you and viable for you to spawn camp, the problem is CCP is letting you do this. |

and for you guys saying "if you're repeatedly dying from a spawn because it is spawn camped then don't spawn there!" im talking about when it's the first time you spawn somewhere someone is already camping it. since the spawn is specific to a few inches, its very easy to spawn camp. it's one thing to camp a heavy traffic area in order to defend an objective, but it's a different thing altogether when you can just place a remote charge or position yourself directly behind a spawn and wait for someone to spawn. |
