Haven't seen a thread on this yet.
When sniping, sometimes are a far distance a chevron will be visible but the person is not. It makes sense when it happens in reverse. If they're super far away it should be harder to tell if they're friend or foe. But a chevron with an invisible person? At first i thought it was just people behind objects but then it happened out in the open. Has anyone else experienced this bug?
When I snipe, I generally snipe from the top of one of the towers. This invisible person thing seems to happen the farther away people are. |

Same here, sometimes they disappear altogether and then reappear out've nowhere, and it wasn't distance related on those. Made me wonder if cloaking made it in for a second. |

Actually I am starting to notice a difference in this build and its to do with sensors and sight lines.
Last build if you could see it yourself it would have a chevron. Now if one of your team can see it but you graphically cant see the person you will still see the chevron. Now it may be a limit in the PS itself or writing the game to fit the limits. It seems they are moving to a system where sight and dection are seperate (like they were doing anyway)
I have also noticed that it is possible to see a person running but have no idea who it is, maybe lag/limits but it feels slightly different to last build. Maybe its a bit more deliberate this time. |

I've found (in regards to the little army men running around with no chevron over their head) just run my scope over them... the dot in the center lights up blue if its allied, or orange if it's a bad guy.
And yeah, being a sniper, outranging the draw distance does add a bit of a challenge. Normally I'll ignore them or track them for a while to see if I can spot where they're headed... unless they're obviously cross-range snipers. Then I send them a love letter. |

no need for sharpshooter skill..the sniper rifle already hits at any range that I've been able to get crosshairs on the enemy at. |

I've sniped some lucky shot from obvious sniper perches on occasion which is kind of awesome, their chevron might vanish but the guy was still there. |
