i TOTALLY agree with this topic (even though i'm right handed ) but if you want to draw attention to your topic then name it " your games sucks ***** CCP"

Thread title aside (wouldn't discrimination have been a better idea? Try the edit button OP. By the way, we all belong to the human race, 'racist' is a popular but meaningless term), I agree with this.

I've played leftie controls for years and although many devs supply some options to change sticks (the very least you can do) there really should be options to re-map controls in most cases, not just for left-handers but for anyone who would like their controls set up differently.

For those who don't have an issue with the default, hey, great for you, but not everyone is happy with default sets. You may as well say to Move players you should be happy with the default set up; people have preferences and devs should do their best to accommodate them. Very few PC games don't offer keyboard re-mapping so as PC devs I would hope CCP would be open to this (I'm unaware if it's offered in EVE but I would be surprised if it wasn't to some degree).

One point worth making re: leftie controls - maybe it's just me, but hitting jump with the same hand you use to run with (right stick and X button) is a pain in the hand and can be hard to pull off effectively mid-combat. Allowing complete mirroring of the controller for lefties (so face buttons mapped to D-pad and v.v) is not impossible or against the law. It makes complete sense when you consider that lefties are effectively using mirrored controls. Think about it.

Of course the simplest way to do all this is to have the default option and also offer a full re-map option so that people can change as little or as much as they like.
