Greetings,
Mx Crazy wrote:U should be able to inv ur friends in a room to play together This feature is coming in the future.

What do classes have to do with it? And why would the fact that no one dies in class have any bearing on this "GAME".
If you are saying they need to improve the tutorials in the game, then yes, I agree, but this game has no classes. If you are saying that you don't understand the game mechanics, then I would recommend reading the info on this site and in the game. If you are saying that Characters don't die, then either you have not been in a battle or you are a worse shooter than I am and need to practice more. |

You should probably read all of the tutorials.
Dust is a lot more in depth in comparison to other shooters. You should seriously read the tutorials.
As for creating a class: Your classes are called your "drop suits". There are 4 default drop suit classes for now. The items do not deplete and you can use these classes whenever.
-To make your own drop suit classes you first need to buy a drop suit. All items except for the Militia items require certain skills. The Militia items do not require any skills to use. I'd recommend starting off with Militia items for now and saving your ISK.
-In your drop suit/class, you can equip a variety of weapons/equipment depending on the kind of drop suit you buy. Once again-use the militia stuff for now since you do not need any skills for it and since it doesn't deplete. Because the militia items do not deplete, you will only need 1 of each of them.
-You gain skill points by playing matches. I'm not sure exactly what determines how much skill points you get but the better you do and the more you help out, the more skill points you seem to earn. You then use these points to upgrade skills. Many skills can't be unlocked until you buy a skill book.
-You can buy skill books in the market with ISK. You then go to your character chart and press R2 which switches you to available skills. Find the skill that you just bought and it will say "use skill book". Once you use the skill book you can then start upgrading your skills. You can also buy skill books directly from the available skills section in your character chart. If you click a skill that has 0 SP in it and has no level bar, an option will come up saying "purchase skill book".
-As I mentioned before, many items, weapons, equipment, etc, require you to have a certain level in a certain skill to use said item. When purchasing items there will be a red X if you do not currently meet the requirements and a green check mark if you do meet the requirements.
-To see what skills you need to be able to use an item, press the show info button (triangle) on the item in the market and press R2 or L2 until you get to the prerequisites section. The info button will also give you a full item description as well as other useful info on the item.
I apologize if this was too long and I hope it helps you. |
