I feel like Dust 514 needs Increased field of vision, or better yet a fov slider to make it bigger or smaller. On my Tv everything seems to feels so tight. It actually affects my performance in-game. Please fix? |

As dust is a console shooter, I doubt it will get a FoV setting. |

What are ye used to playing i can see people just fine in DUST is someone sneaks up on me or flanks me i dont think it has anything to do with FOV just battlefield awareness listen, check you flanks, watch the mini map and you should have all the info you need. |

I agree. It needs to be better. But then it seems to already be struggling with resolution/ Anti Aliasing/ Texture streaming/ Texture filtering etc...
So i think adding more to the screen will be a big challenge.
But i totally agree that it needs a better FOV. Its very restrictive. |

But it could be changed. There are plenty of console shooters with a good FOV.

I like to think im very skilled at being aware of my situation, But i still find it restrictive.

I want to expand on this by saying that the closer you are to the screen, The more of a problem FOV becomes. PC games with a low FOV are alot more annoying to play because you are sat closer to the screen.
Not sure why, But its the truth. |

Small FOV is there to limit your environment awareness.
Basically this is much more of a tactical shooter than a twitch based one. I never really have an issue with keeping track cause I try to move and look in such a way that I know where it is clear and where reds might be. |
