It seems CCP doesn't have a mechanic for switching characters in EVE without exiting completely so I wouldn't look forward to one being added to Dust 514 any time SOONGäó.
Just follow these easy steps and you'll switching between alts much faster, without having to quit Dust and go though its super long intro.
- Press the PS button on your Dual Shock 3 or Playstation Move controller
- Under Playstation Network navigate to "Account Management" and press the TRIANGLE button
- In the context menu that pops up, scroll down and select "Sign Out" with the X button
- Wait...
- You'll get a message saying you've been disconnected from Dust - Press X
- You'll get the message saying you're about to connect to the CCP servers - Press X
- The XMB will pop up here prompting you to sign in to PSN/SEN - Do that
- Pick your character as normal
BONUS STEP: Click Like above because your likes pay my bills and make me feel good about my short comings as a human being. |

Ha! Finding all the tricks.
It doesn't work anymore in this build,but I use to just open up the tutorial and exit out,but they changed the tutorial now so... |

This is the very thing I logged on to look up!
I hope they add an option to back out, it's quite a pain having to exit out the game every time you want to head back to the character select!
I bought he pack off PSN but didn't want to use it on my character until I'd tested the game out first.
I spent ages fiddling about trying to find a way to back out to the character select before I gave in and just restarted the game! |

when i did this, it did not kick me out of the game. i was signed out of the PSN but still in game, it only disabled my in game text chat, stated Parental Controls blocked that feature. my account, online or off, does not have any parental controls turned on... odd. i had to pull the ethernet, this is another shortcut. |

Not even close.
You're suggesting a way for the devs to make the game sort things out for you.
OP is suggesting a workaround that can be used NOW to log yourself out of your character without quitting the game.
