I don't understand how it's only 3 of us having this issue. If it's happening to us it must be happening to others. And if it's not then wtf, this is a console, our systems are not different.
Either way, is there no dev response to something as game breaking as to not be able to log in?
And even for those who are able to log in, are there not epic loading screens for you? |

So we all have different PS3's with the same issue.
I'm in the US, I have no idea where the server(s) are. I have a 30MB connection and of course any other game works.
All I really want right now is my money back, which probably isn't going to happen. PS Store does not give refunds, and I doubt CCP would either.
You shouldn't SELL beta if it's in this condition. You don't SELL beta until it's quite good. They can argue that they SOLD me Aurum and other virtual items, but I was buying into this beta. |

Well they got my 20 bucks. First beta I've ever paid to get into, and I've been involved in all but a few MMO betas. I can at least promise them they won't get me back in Eve again. |

I'm probably over reacting due to day 1 excitement.
However, it brings up a few fears.
This isn't the first PS game with super long load times. Tekken 4 was horrible until you fully installed it and even then it was still bad. You'd sit through a couple of minutes of loading for one minute of fighting.
Will CCP be able to address loading screen times at all? Or are these not happening to everyone?
How is the network handling it? comparing call of duty on xbox and ps3 I have always had better performance on xbox, but I buy them on both because family plays on ps3 and my friends on xbox.
Game mechanics I'm not worried about, CCP will address those problems without much trouble. |
