I was just watching some of my favorite Dust Youtubers like Squadb CEO Pyrex, Saxonamish,Heracles Porsche and D.beast.
While watching them I felt something that I have not felt in quiet a while, a familiar ache to play my favorite game Dust 514.
I knew that it had been a while since "shutdown" but just wanted to try my luck.
Picked up my dusty ps3 controller and scrolled down to dust, listening that familiar music just brought a tear to my eye, started the game and oh that logo, that crimson red logo but that moment of nostalgia was interrupted as I got the dreaded message.
I don't know why but I can't seem to find a game to replace the rush, the sheer joy that Dust gave me.
Tried everything ranging from Overwatch to games like pubg and even bought nintendo switch to play zelda and mario kart but nothing seems to quench that thirst of Dust..........................................................................................
This was MY FAVORITE GAME.
GO AHEAD JUDGE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't mean this ironically or in a joking manner: talk to a professional mental health worker. Pining for a video game this badly is a sign of potentially harmful issues that could manifest in other areas of your life.

I watched someone shoot down a moving ship with a shoulder mounted railgun from inside the back of an APC in the new SC 3.0 footage, so I've been cured of much of my nostalgia.
And that's not even to say SC did it, just witnessing what tech is capable of in games these days has just really given me a new perspective on things. |
