From clocks to randomly glancing my health in some other game, I'm constantly noticing those stigmatic digits.
A clerk hands me my change: "So that's ten...and five fourteen is your change!"
Suddenly the landscape around me is bleached out. I no longer see trees and grass out the window, but a gray, dusty hellscape. Cinders flicker in the air around me. I can hear the familiar, soothing hum of my Viziam scrambler rifle.
"It's not 'five fourteen'" I replied. I no longer saw the store clerk. I just saw a blueberry. Time seemed to stand still as his eyes wandered in nervous anticipation.
"It's five one four".

This happens to me every other day and it's starting to get to me. I never thought I would be so close to cracking because of a digit.

I'll admit every time I see the numbers 514 or words dust, or nova. Even project.-á
It brings memories of clones dropping to the ground, the hum of a rep tool, the stab of a needle....the feeling if getting red lined from the start, deciding to play a different style, a basic fit, you hear others on the comms, eventually with drop links in the right place,
Enough lucky shots and support, get you in control. Then the sniping starts...the cloaking, knives charging, haunt your memories bitter sweet....then the final battle report....as you see the isk flow you realize....you spent more then you gain, but then you see who who fought against...next time you may not be as lucky.
We must do more, we can do more, it's up to the left overs of all the factions to unite.-á
