I had that same idea for a Gallente m+¬l+¬e weapon. Two years ago I wrote up a couple paragraphs explaining the concept, but never actually posted it because I thought it was a bit out there.
The idea would have been a gauntlet with boosters attached to it that would allow the user to move at tremendous speeds in a horizontal fashion. You would have to charge it just like Nova Knives to boost forward and would be stationary while charging. The range would have been modest for close quarters combat.
Ah, I wish that existed as the Gallente m+¬l+¬e weapon.

Well, they probably wanted someone who could do a good Nigerian accent. Terry Crews may not have fit the bill.

yup afaik Overwatch voice actors are all sort of mothertongue in their characters language. Mercy VA is German, Sombra is Mexican, Genji and Hanzo are Japanese, D.Va Korean and so on.

Look at you, trying to be fancy with that melee typing.
Anyways, I always figured the Gallente would have their flag as a melee weapon. Decent pike, kind of like the Lothric War Banner from DS3. Also buff fellow Freedom Fighters? Yes, please!

I took four years of French and used to type French essays as well as text in French on my phone. So m+¬l+¬e automatically changes to it's french spelling.
