On 12th June 2012 Konami officially shut down the Metal Gear Online servers.
Now, after 5 years the fan base was able to bring their beloved Game back online!

This was possible by privately hosting a server and restoring a modified savegame, in order to connect to the new server.
Maybe we could utilise this mod to bring back Dust 514?

I can't believe the amount of work put in to make this possible. Furthermore, I wonder how many players there are actually playing this. Lastly, I hope this will be a sign to devs out there that new does not automatically mean better where maybe adding parkour, QTEs, and other clutter is not always best.

This is why I'll be playing Star Wars battlefront 2 in a few months. The progression system in the new game looks promising and their are many new features. Watch some of the videos, its scary how nova and this game are going to be somewhat similar with the different soldier classes.
When in doubt pull the forge out!! But we are all dead so who cares!
