Well everyone I jumped back on to unreal tournament today to get my kb-m practice on and guess what! I still don't find it enjoyable, and my left hand keyboard wrist hurts like hell. I just don't think I can use the keyboard for movement. I Can aim with the mouse all day long especially with the gaming mouse. But with my wrist injury of the past its not going to happen with the keyboard.
I can only hope I will be able to mod something up to use a analog for movement maybe and still use a multiple button gaming mouse for the rest. Any thoughts CCP? Or forum friend? Still want to be a part of this new game when it happens but just not able to use a keyboard!
When in doubt pull the forge out!! But we are all dead so who cares!

Controller?
If you require more buttons than a standard controller has then try out a scuff gaming controller. It should have enough extra buttons and paddles to allow you to wire everything correctly.
The only issue would be that aiming might be a bit tricky. Though, I'm sure you can do it.
Put your flags up in the sky.
And wave them side to side.

I had the same problem with the keyboard when I started PC games last year.
But now it's fine, it's maybe too easy to say, but you have just to practice and with the time, your hand will be ok. To improve my confort, I switched some of my keys in games setting with others, which are more accessible for my left hand. If you got some keys on your mouse, don't forget to use them for important capacity.
Also, I think you must start with a slower FPS (like BF, Far Cry); it's easier to learn your keyboard. (solo campaign are good for that)

For a while I played LoL with buttons mapped to half a PS3 controller and a wacom tablet... If it doesn't have too many buttons required, you could try something like that? |

Can confirm that it's pretty straight forward to map controller inputs so they appear as keyboard inputs on PC. |
