Listen Up Troops,
As you may know the DUST 514 veterans Discord has remained fairly active seperate from the forums in the last few months. During which time, me and a few other former DUST players have worked together to build up a new RP / Lowsec corporation in Molden Heath based on making a corporation made up of former immortal mercenaries.
Lately, I'd been working on making a new emblem for that corporation, and also something to act as a new emblem for the "warclone" community. (Warclone being the in-universe term for dustbunnies.)
Anyway, I worked with Jadek and a few others to make a couple versions of this emblem for the community to use as they see fit to represent the DUST 514 and Project Nova. Feel free to use it and modify it as you see fit, and let me know if you'd like the original photoshop file so you can edit it and make your own versions.

Unfortunately we couldn't find a helmet icon for the squids.
By the way, we have a new version that Jadek made, looks a bit more menacing.

That was my initial reaction too, but on the other hand, it is recognizable and distinctly EVE. Are there any other games with 4 eyed helmets?
It would be hard to render a Caldari helmet in low definition line art and have it look like anything recognizable. They lack a face.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

I like seeing such things coming from past DUST players.
BTW, I was too going to comment about it obviously being Gallente but others beat me to it. Still, for those that think they can do better, please try to do so as I would like to see what others come up with.

I am in the process of modifying the base image provided. Below are the changes I made.
1. Changed banner where filling banner inner area with color (back) and removing surrounding border. This causes a look similar to the old DUST logo.
2. Separated Gallente skull from banner and making it a different color (purple).
3. Closed off top set of eyes.
4. Filled all four eyes with separate color (red).
After these few edits, it looks a bit better to me. I was almost done where was going to post but I saved as jpg where final cleanup is not as easy as it would have been if I kept as png. Now it may be easier to start over from base png rather than clean up as a jpg image.
