We need an NDA gated Nova forum. Even if the Beta is not ready, it would allow the Devs to be more open with us.
They can't go releasing Alpha footage on a public forum. There would be bugs that have not been fixed yet, and stuff that may not make it into the game, and many other things they don't want public until they have it all working a bit better.
It would be nice to have a members only forum though for the DUST vets who understand what Alpha actually means, and are able to have discussions with Devs without taking everything a Devs says during development as an iron clad promise.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

Due to the recent changeover to Iceland, I am not sure how much is really able to be seen at this time. As I said in other threads, making Nova more EVE like would likely take an overall redesign to everything but the gun game Shanghai made. As with everything from CCP though, you have to read into the little they say as well as how they say it.
In short, you've waited this long so it shouldn't be that much of a surprise you're going to need to wait some more.
