So it took you a few years spent in a small portion of a very large country to pass a blanket judgment upon everyone in said country? Doesn't seem very fair. |

It's my drug of choice. Pay to play... Nope. Overwatch isn't free to play you dingus. You have access to all characters, maps and gamemodes the instant you buy it and you don't need to pay for any future game modes, characters or maps. The only thing you can buy are cosmetics like skins, stickers, poses and emotes. Though all can be earned easily in game. I have just about everything I want and a lot for characters I don't even play. I have yet to spend anything on the game after initially buying it last summer. You're being silly, what I meant with my post is you have to buy it to play it.
Oh Vahzz... Pay attention, will you?

It's my drug of choice. Pay to play... Nope. 30-40 dollars for hundreds of hours of play time. Are you that broke ? You'll end up paying something in F2P games if you get invested in them anyway. Yes I'm that broke.
The only time I've spent money on a free to play game was through a phone, because WoT thankfully has mobile payment options for buying gold. I bought it only because I have a pre-paid phone, so I have to spend a certain amount of money every 3 months to refresh the license, so I can keep using my number, I don't call a lot so money accumulates, and I spend it in the game.
My parents are around 2 thousand euros in credit card debt, each. So that's why they're not so eager to let me use their cards to buy a game.
I'll be done with school around spring next year, that's when I'll go find a job... and hopefully with that I'll be able to pull my family out of debt, and be able to buy my own games.

Well, I would probably play Witcher III if I had a PC, but I am not interested enough to buy a PC just to play it. I am holding off buying a PC until Nova beta. Also, it is costing me over $6000 to get rid of my American Citizenship, so it is leaving me a little short on spending money right now. Can you believe there is a $2300 processing fee for the paperwork to drop a US citizenship? Then $2875 for the lawyer, and $1100 for an Accountant to retroactively file something called an F-Bar for the last 6 years, because apparently filing a tax return isn't enough. Dropping US citizenship... $6,275. Not having Trump as MY president... Priceless! That's your choice, you could get dual citizenship and not use the American one I have duel citizenship. It would not make much sense to drop my American citizenship if I did not have a backup. I was bone and raised in Canada. I did not realize that there was much of a difference until I lived in the US for a few years, and realized that people in the US had a completely different value system than Canadians. Not to say one is better than the other, but my values are Canadian. Also being a US citizen creates a crisis of identity. Then Trump got elected, and that was the last straw! I figured that =ƒñªGÇìGÖén+Å Just seems like a waste of money..Tbh I'm not a fan of America, well their disgusting foods =ƒñó Well the tax forms for an American living outside the US are so complicated that it costs $1000 for an Accountant to do my US taxes (It costs $150 to do my Canadian taxes), so even though I will never make enough money to owe tax to the US government, due to the $97,000 exemption for living, working, and filing taxes in a foreign country, it still costs me $1000 a year for the bloody accountant to do the paperwork. So I will save money in the long run.
What other country is anal enough to insist on getting tax forms from citizens living and working abroad?

In all seriousness , got BF1 & it was fun for a few weeks till i reached level 90+ & began averaging 30kills per match etc ( fun game & very balanced ) but i want my suit builder & skill tree back......
Paragon ( F2P ) , fun game that has that , build your character up progression while playing a match system.....very team orientated & a lot of communication is needed to win .
But like i said , you'll find that these small quick fixes will make you "cry" inside . You will realize that you've been spoiled with Dust514 & you want something with more MMOFPS control.....

If you are jonesing that hard for DUST, you really need to give EVE a shot. Sure, the FPS is not there where it's not all action all the time but it is a MMO whose skill system is similar to DUST and your death does affect you similar to DUST if not moreso. After all, that's what I did after having the same complaint for months. EVE can be a grind at times but at least I have the perk of chatting with past DUST players while grinding.

Well I thought you were a bit older :P Soon you'll see why $30-40 isn't much for a game which will give you hundreds of hours of playtime !

Crossout was mentioned earlier in this thread. I didn't really pay much attention as I never heard of it; likely on PC. Well, I've come to find it is on PS4 and it is also F2P: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTQnM4VMcik Looks like Mad Max but with way more advanced weapon systems.

There are tons of games to enjoy while you wait for project nova. Anyone who is wallowing in depression because DUST 514 was shutdown and they "can't find anything else to play!" is being silly and sentimental.
My advice to you, playa.
