Ty for the heads up, Ive been fighting with Fallout CK for months now and Im just done. 5 minutes into UE4 and Im already off building nice environments. I fear there wont be enough assets with the free version but whatever, very intuitive and you cant beat free lol

Im basically only good at terrain / scene editing but its always fun learning new systems. Like you say too, probably better to get the practice on a widely utilized and supported engine. I dont know any coding though so who knows if ill ever get past terrain generation.
Again though, for free who cares :)

Im watching someone stream UE4 right now and I had no idea how many free assets are available straight through the engine. This is so cool :)

Still kinda sad that we basically need investigative journalists to dig up relevant information on the continuation of a game that was billed as never having a sequel and having a 10 year plan. A sales pitch mind you that kept many players here, spending away, hopeful for a bright future.
Now we know thats all wiped clean, money well spent on entertainment but ultimately wasted on the dream of persistence.
I get that with people like me who are hyper critical and them still working off a fairly small dev team that they really cant talk, it just doesnt make it suck any less.
