It seems in random games, my hit detection is way off. Most games i can pull easy 14-5 give or take (ABSOLUTELY not trying to "Brag" or anything here, not that good numbers anyway). last game I went 6-12, because I swear I was aiming at people, close quarters (less than 10m) and directly shooting them, but my rounds weren't connecting! It was extremely frustrating.
It only seems to happen in random games. like maybe 1 in 5 or so? Has anyone else noticed this? It seems fine in most games, just sometimes it seems nearly impossible to hit people.
Known issue with hit detection? I don't think it has to do with dropsuit command either... because as i said, most games it works fine...
edit, wondering if maybe it's a desyncing issue? |

Having the same problem. Last game I played I was hitting the ground in front of a guy and it was counting that I was getting hits and another guy I was hitting, once he shifted to another side while strafing the hit boxes like lagged behind him. It's kinda like the hit detection is off sync with the new maps or something. |

I agree. The hit detection is terrible. But this is why we have beta testing. Hopefully they'll fix it. |

Hit detection is TONS better now, but still needs more lovin from the devs.
Devs: you guys here that right? Whatever you did in this build helped a LOT - but a little bit more work is needed still. |

I agree, sometimes I just nail targets, and sometimes it seems like I can just pour bullets through them. Oddly, it seems to happen more often when my target is low on health. |

not sure what exactly the cause is, but i know that when I get out of sync, i just can't hit anyone. but usually (in most games) it works just fine... so yeah... not sure what needs to be tweaked, but it could just be as simple as lag. |

I have been noticing the same issue on this character and my alts. wonder if it is an issue with everything is being place on the server side (i.e., when it receives the info packets from both player involved in an exchange) rather than having it player based, which becomes an issue oh who has the better bandwidth and internet connection. And issue of ruberbanding ? |

Might be the lag or because I switched language to english, but I also have the register hit issue.
Yesterday it was fine, now I can empty a mag on someone and it will still be as fresh as if I didn't hit it at least once. The issue is even more alarming shooting from far away. Again yesterday it was fine. |

Using SMGs, I've noticed that the hit detection is garbage when aiming down the sights, but fine when firing from the hip. I'll unload right into people to no affect when aiming, but if I just circle strafe and hope for the best they drop like flies. |

I seem to be getting this too...
First few games yesterday I was really impressed that the hit detection had been fixed - I hit what I shot at...
But then suddenly one game it was back to pre-update standard... It seems to be pretty hit or miss (see what I did there!) for each game whether or not the hit detection is good or bad.
I have noticed that the hit indicators seem to be very inconsistent too. I've killed people and got kill assists when I've not seen a single hit indicator when firing at them.
I have also come across a couple of folk in "good hit detection" games who seems to be practically impossible to hit, even when stationary...

Has anyone considered its a skill issues? Not a hit detection issue? Its way better than the last build and i'm confident once i have SP in the right places that it won't be an issue at all.
I was nailing people left right and centre on the last build with the right SP choices and that was with the hit detection issues. |

It's almost you have to hit them center mass to get a kill. I ran around this guy and emptied my main weapon's clip into him, getting hit markers. switched to my secondary(SMG) and continued to lay into him all with hit markers. He turns around, lays a few round out and I was dead. It is VERY frustrating and makes it difficult to play the game. |

This happened to me as well. My assault rifle was aimed at a sniper that was just standing there and no hit markers appeared, yet I still killed him. |
