For me its a toss up but I think it has to come down to Forge gun battles. I loved the plasma cannon a lot as people who knew me would attest to but one on one forge gun battles were some of the most fun ive had in any shooting game.
What its the one biggest thing you guys miss?

Using the scout to change the game strategically. I must had ran a thpusand battles whereallI did was run around placing iplinks and speed hacking objectives. It cpuld.change the outcome of the battle.
Also, logiing.I cant think of another game where the "medic" made such a huge difference especially on meat grinders. Being hyper focused while your hands are moving like an hadd child high on cocain was something else.

The corps and chat channels. Unlike in EVE, chat channels in DUST were used during squad form up, fitting creation, and restocking which was quite often. In EVE, it seems people only chat when docked or getting ready to dock.

I have to agree with everything you said here. I was only just barely into Pro Scouts and Logis, everything Caldari, by the time the game was killed. Even so, I was having tremendous fun and starting to have an amazing impact on battles. While Assaults, Commandos and Sentinels were interesting and exciting, I don't think any of them had as much ability to influence outcomes as did Scouts and Logistics. |

No, that's not quite true. Yes, chat as in "chat" is mainly when docked, but when in fleet, there are special fleet chat channels which are used for coordinating fleets. Of course, there are many out-of-game voice chat facilities used as well, which would tend to give the impression chat isn't used in EvE, but it actually is, quite extensively. |

Scrambler rifles. The closest thing to them I've been able to find is Zenyatta's attacks in Overwatch (can launch them in semi-automatically, or can charge and release many at once).

although i kinda prefer pre uprising and pre laser rifle nerf.
combat in full militia gear was more chaotic and fun during those days. and you didnt die so quick either.
