I found militia gear quite good myself. While I absolutely loved the Caldari proto gear, it was far too expensive for the benefit it gave. Near the end when I'd maxed out all my relevant skills, militia gear was more than good enough, was cheap, efficient and you could get BPOs of it, so I found myself fighting with militia gear much of the time anyway. I actually had more fun with MLT because I wasn't worried about how many times I died, which meant I fought bolder and learnt through that experience that was the sort of fighting that often won a fight anyway. |

Plus who didnt love taking out full proto scrubs with their welfare suit?
BPOs were where it was at though. I got lucky and got most of my BPOs for 20-40 AUR each before the price hike :) Or was that just vehicle module BPOs? I can't 'member.

I do too, for a certain period on my career... I used to play only the unmodified MEDIC starter fit and ended up with over 150 million ISK when I actually started using other fits lol...

I think that date only goes as far back as the open beta release in January 2013. I checked my name there and it listed me as Jan 10, 2013. I checked a few other names that i know started months earlier during closed beta and they all came back with the same day, within a few minutes of each other.
This is all just fyi. If you joined on or after open, this is great!!

I got in on the whole E3 wave with the Playstation Home board game thing - don't remember it now, but man that was fun. Apparently I only signed up for closed beta around May 2012? I could swear I was interested in it before that... oh well

My official character was created June 2013, I think. However, I first played Dust during Chromosome through a friend that had it. It's a shame that same friend lost interest along the way :/

I was of the same opinion unitl I realized that farming ISK is meaningless because by the end of the day you will get more than you lose. And fun didn't come from using **** gear, but it came from fighting proper players.
