Greetings,
Ile Faded wrote:Unless my system is exp a bug, please put back the allowing of deleting presets on drop suit fitting. I am one of the people who asked that they make a fit that is not removeable and I still think that is the right thing to do, however, as I stated when I said that to them, there should be only one permanent suit. The reason for my feedback was because of the people who would "alter" one of the base suits or remove all of the base suits and then have nothing to wear. Just like in EVE, no matter how many ships you lose, you will always have a fully functional frigate waiting in your hangar bay.

BTW I only used proto gear. Actually if they are below average players then yes.... I came pretty close a couple of times while I was trying out my proto gear before the wipe. And I did twice on Tuesday night after the wipe.

What many people haven't realized yet is that you don't actually get the BPOs that the presets provide. As such if you want to make a slight variation of a preset, you have to buy the whole set and piece it together. Personally, the first thing I did when I realized that was went through and bought each of the Militia BPOs so that I can play with them to my heart's content, but not everyone is aware that they can do it... And if they get a bit overzealous in their skill buying they will not have the money to "create" a variant on the presets. Which again is why I said they should have one that they cannot remove / alter.... Just like the newb frigates in EVE.
Dan Centauri wrote:How about make it so we can edit them, delete them and move their positions in the list. Then add a nice big button to restore default militia fittings. I would agree with being able to move them or remove all but one from your list, but I am against editing them... Instead a better way would be to take a page from various other games... Allow you to "clone" a preset and then edit the clone. A perfect example of this for me is the Logistics preset... I am going to create a variant of that one that I can use as my new overwatch fit, Would be a great deal easier if I could just copy what is there and then replace the two pieces I need. |
